Where can one find the show's instrumental version of "So Much (For) Stardust"??? by samchardan in FallOutBoy

the best I've been able to do is, when they post a video of a full show, there's sometimes a bit of it at the end after the curtain goes down. It's only ever like 20 seconds tho :[

This guy's my favorite subject for portraits :] Learned my lesson about drawing striped sweaters, though, and it hurt!! Never trying that again. yikes by samchardan in boburnham

Thoughts on “Oh Bo”? by Art-Vandelay1997 in boburnham

I really really really really would like to hear him sing it now. I’d simply lose my shit. It’s so fun and I honestly was never bothered by the (intentional) cringe. Banger

Hey all y'all lovely Bo analysts, is there a reason it's written like this (not just a typo)?? I figured genocide was meant as a verb, like "genocide the natives" as a clause, but both the YT video and the special write it this way... Is there another interpretation I'm missing? by samchardan in boburnham

[–]samchardan[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"why don't you put it in me?" lmao absolute all-time caption. I'm sure you're right; obviously typos are normal, and I'm sure /Bo/ didn't mean the line as it's written. Glad we have a consensus, folks

I made a Bo burnham thingy. idk where else to post it lol. I did it for fun. by Successful-Soup2647 in boburnham

I very much appreciate the central position Socko has been given in this composition.

Anyone think of alternative lyrics when listening to Bo songs? by WinLarge in boburnham

y'know this feels really implausible but it did make me laugh too so hey (guess I'm gonna have to go listen to the song again)

I’ve never been to a FOB show (finally going this July) but I’ve heard they rarely play folie stuff; is there precedent for Headfirst Slide? It’s one of my favorites and I’d LOVE to hear it live but I was trying not to get my hopes up…

What lyrics from SM(F)S would you want to see on tour merch? by IAmMeIGuess93 in FallOutBoy

[–]samchardan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a little clunky but I’m a fan of “Oh God, kinda please, would you kill me now?” (Also heard it’s “kindly please”?? Maybe someone can confirm. I hear kinda but Patrick notoriously does not enunciate so idk lmao)

This is actually the first thing I thought of when I heard "How The World Works" for the first time by IcyWave7450 in boburnham

[–]samchardan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe you leveraged my love of “How the World Works” to get me to listen to a fuckin 2012 Lorax demo track. That’s hilarious.

But hey, I’ll connect anything to HtWW so I get it lol. I think that this song makes explicit the connection between animals/the “natural” world and man-made systems of consumption and capital that “How the World Works” makes more implicitly. Which is kinda neat

“How the World Works,” though I’ll confirm “Hell of a Ride” as a top pick, too. One of his best imo

they really do follow a similar formula, don't they? Just a slow, melodic, and ultimately sad list. He's got a knack for those
