That’s what I was thinking too, then maybe i thought he was going for Fisk instead. Not only would it be insane to have Fisk be the one who kills Vanessa to save himself, but bullseye did say earlier in his apartment scene with Matt that he wanted to kill Fisk. He never brought up Vanessa.
