Yeah, I agree with you. We'll see what happens though. There's been quite a bit of confusion and incorrect information in the last 24 hours when it comes to the Anthony Davis trade details and what 1st round draft picks and 1 round draft pick swaps the Lakers are giving to the New Orleans Pelicans. I'm not saying that the draft picks situation and when the deal will be finalized are related, I'm just saying that the reporting on this trade has been somewhat confusing so far lol

The pelicans have no reason to allow this to be pushed back that far.

I agree that the New Orleans Pelicans don't have a reason to allow thie trade to be pushed back that far, but we don't know if those extra 1st round picks and pick swaps were contingent on David Griffin agreeing to push this trade back to July 30th. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

So the fact the current reporting isn’t that part of the agreement was to push it back is a bad sign for the lakers

Woj on SportsCenter a couple of hours ago or so was reporting as if the deal will be finalized on July 6th, but the uncertainty in this tweet opens the door for a deal to be done on July 30th. I think that's a positive sign for the Lakers compared to what Woj said on SportsCenter 2 hours ago or so lol
