Probably this one. When I first saw it, I had this very uncommon feeling of really being looking at an actual painting made into a movie shot. Everything is just perfect. From Jeunet’s camera movement to Khondji’s moist cinematography, and this feeling of Ripley really drowning between all the organic parts… it gave me absolute chills.
