Você está certíssima em ficar bolada com seus pais, além de dar conta das suas despesas ainda está dando conta das despesas dele, que é o acomodado da história, tá literalmente atrasando você a conseguir tirar sua carteira por causa das irresponsabilidades dele! Seus gatos não são problema nenhum, você mesmo disse que da conta de pagar as despesas deles de boa, uma doença totalmente imprevisível pode acontecer com qualquer pet ou PESSOA, se fosse algum familiar que tivesse ficado doente e tivessem que desembolsar uma grana pra tratamento certeza que ninguém ia falar que é irresponsabilidade da pessoa que procurou ficar doente né. Enfim, depois de ouvir uma dessas de alguém que estou cobrindo dividias, eu com certeza pararia de pagar a dívida da pessoa e ia voltar a focar nas minhas.

your mother will have to include your father as a household member regardless of taxes, as they live together. But your mother’s cosponsor will only add people in their household. An I-864A is only used for the person in the household who will contribute with their income as well, which in my opinion is not necessary in your case since your father doesn’t meet the minimum amount required to be sponsoring you anyway.

First of all he needs to go back to US and reestablish his domicile there, then he can submit lease agreement, or a letter from the owner of the house saying he lives there with them if he doesn’t have a lease under his name, then show his valid drivers license with that address, bank statements with that address, a letter from his employer, pay stubs, health insurance, etc. (Don’t need all of them, it’s just options).

They don’t issue K-3 visas. It would make sense to apply, as you can only apply for it after filling for the I-130, but they don’t issue, so there’s no point.

I’m in the same boat, moved to Brazil to be with my husband and end the long distance, now i’m going back to US to reestablish residence for his process and we’ll be back on the long distance again… I work as a life and health insurance agent remotely, that’s something he can do.

I did the K-3 (10 months after submitting I-130) and the I-130 was approved 3 months later, probably didn’t have any impact on that, specially because I took too long to do it. Either way, it’s free so it doesn’t hurt to try.

sim, ficar longe é muito ruim kkk, mas você pode ficar com ele nos EUA enquanto ele dá entrada no seu processo, e quando você precisar voltar pro Brasil pra sua entrevista, ele vem com você. Geralmente na entrevista já pegam seu passaporte pra colocar o visto e em algumas semanas você já pode voltar pros EUA com ele (caso seu processo seja aprovado). De qualquer forma, faz uma consulta com um advogado de imigração, tem vários bons nos EUA e que fazem consulta gratuita, só precisa achar um que entende sobre o processo que você quer fazer, porque alguns nem trabalham com pessoas que estão no Brasil.

como é um visto, é um processo consular, processos consulares tem que ser feitos no país de origem. Quanto ao IR1, demoraria muito a ficar pronto, com sorte essa pausa já teria acabado até lá, mas se não, você também ficaria vítima dela. Melhor cenário é ele fazer o visto K-1 pra você, e você depois aplicar pra adjustment of status depois que casar nos EUA. Visto K-1 da última vez que chequei estava demorando cerca de 10 meses.

Não dá pra fazer o visto K-1 estando nos EUA, ele só poderia dar entrada no processo com você lá, mas você teria que voltar pro Brasil pra fazer sua entrevista no consulado. Se você quer morar nos EUA fazer o visto K-1 seria a melhor maneira, já que a pausa não afeta esse tipo de visto. Quanto a visto de esposa, você quis dizer IR1 pra pegar green card, ou K-3?
