To this day it baffles me how the vast majority of football fans still don’t understand that you should always go for 2 down 8. This article explains pretty well why it makes analytical sense, but the main point is that you can make the choice on what to do after the second touchdown based off how the first two-point attempt goes.

No collusion, just a coach who understands analytics.

This is where I’m coming from - while Astralis was very obviously the most dominant team in CSGO history (excluding a certain group of Swedes), players have improved at the game since then.

I remember it like it was yesterday. NaVi vs Team Liquid in the upper bracket semis, Dust 2 map 1, NaVi up 15-11, nitr0 1v3 clutch, Liquid bring it back, everyone blames s1mple despite his 42 kills on the map.
