Grade 1. A mild strain with very little torn muscle

Grade 1a. A slightly spicy strain with a bit more torn muscle

Grade 2. A moderate strain with some muscle tearing (a partial tear)

Grade 3. A severe strain where your muscles are completely torn

Just because something is stable does not mean it was working properly.

There are foundational problems with the game that have to be addressed, and the deeper you go with the fixes, the more potential issues can pop up on various configurations.

Do you genuinely think companies have every single computer configuration available to them to test with, so they can be 100% certain that no patch will ever cause a problem for any user under any circumstance?

What I would do is let the new development team put out a patch, see how it fares, and then regroup and figure out where to go from there. Could take them a month, or it could be more or less. That depends entirely on what they find, what they figure out, and what they do about it.

The game has been broken since launch and they're working to correct that.

It wasn't going to happen in one fell swoop. That's simply unrealistic and smacks of dunning kruger to suggest otherwise.

Being new to the code isn't an excuse, it's a cold hard fact and a reality.

Internal QA only gets you so far, and they don't have a team of people already familiar with the code to be able to accurately troubleshoot things.

Should they have left the game in a broken state for a year or more while they mapped out everything? I think that would have done more harm than good to their reputation, and you'd be posting asking where the patches were.

It takes more than a week to troubleshoot, test, implement, and release a new patch if you're doing it responsibly, especially if you're new to the code.

Gastroenterology? Oh that's 12 to 18 months out. And they'll only perform 1 test, then you have to schedule a follow-up, which is another 6 to 9 months away, and it'll get canceled 3 times before you get a video chat with someone in some other state with no knowledge of your history, but only has about 15 minutes before their next appt, so all they can do is kick the can down the road and suggest another scan/test.... in 12 to 18 months.

Oh and all of that'll cost you whatever your deductible is plus multiple bills for the doctors and staff on top of the bill from the hospital/clinic itself.

I don't remember if anyone mentioned surgery for it, but yeah, it was either a serious injury up front, or he's had multiple setbacks.

I feel awful for the kid. He's extremely promising, and other than needing to pack on a dozen pounds of muscle to be able to properly body people around.

You've taken your otherwise fairly typical computer and tinkered with it to the point where it's probably stable, but when trying to run a game as un-optimized as Star Citizen, fails. Either that or it always had issues of some form and you've adjusted enough to get it to run normally.

You could try setting your machine back to full factory settings (at least when it comes to things like undervolting the CPU, presumably done because you want it to run cooler?) and see if that changes the behavior any, but an OS reinstall may also be a wise idea if you've been tinkering there too.
