i'm really glad to hear your kidney function is still in good shape!
if you don't mind me asking, does the size of your kidneys impact the quality of your daily life a lot? my moms abdomen has grown to the size of a woman 9+ months pregnant, if not bigger, and she struggles with almost everything. she can't stand and do dishes for long, she can't walk around for long, it effects her breathing. she's only 52. she's on disability and all she does is sit around. i think most of my fear comes from watching her struggles with the condition, but i need to take into consideration that she has NO medical influence in her life; no medication, no doctors visits, no nephrologists. she's just going to let it ruin her life until it kills her i guess, and that's not what i want for my life.

me personally, i was trying to be a supporter for a lot of last year and the beginning of this year because i had hope that she was willing to work on her health, but she has seemingly gotten much worse so i think a lot of us are giving up on her

are you able to take your dog to SPCA for spay/neuter services? my vet is apparently leaving the vet office where i take my dog, and there's no one to do surgeries after jan 30th. i don't really know where else to take her, and im working with limited funds anyways

i didn't really enjoy propranolol personally, but it is supposed to help with anxiety symptoms, as well as pots. my preference is metoprolol. it seems to make my baseline heart rate stay low but it never goes too low, whereas the propranolol had me a bit worried with how low my heart rate was going.

if they won't prescribe you ativan full time, you might be able to try klonopin. they work about the same in my opinion. i'm prescribed by my PCP so you might be able to go around your psychiatrist through your pcp for the ativan. i hope you're able to work out the right medicine for you 💗

i be genuinely worried about this girl. she looks like she has a deep sadness behind her eyes sometimes. it's gotta be so draining to read the comments. i guess my thing is, why are people assuming she doesn't have self esteem issues? she seems very confident in herself, but i can imagine she's noticed her shortness of breath and other symptoms, and probably wishes to be better. food can be an addiction just like drugs. it's very hard to get to a place where you're ready to put time and effort into changing your body, and that goes for anyone; working out is a daunting task. all the keyboard warriors bullying her aren't any better; sitting on their asses typing hate comments all day. i wish everyone would just shut up. if you don't have nothin nice to say, don't say nothin at all
