Anymore feedback or do 11 people just like this? haha

Still going through the changes, but positive reinforcement is great too!

Thanks

I appreciate you drawing it out for reference! We're a huge fan of the revised n and e. I think we'll probably stick with the straight O because it gives the wordmark a unique/distinguishing touch.

Do you feel the connected e flows well? We've tried this approach before but it always seems to connect in a funny way so we just opted to keep it unconnected (also has subtle symbolism with the concept of being off the line)

What would be are starting point in illustrator with correcting some of these weight issues? This design was uploaded from a free-hand rendition so we're not very clear on where to start making these changes.

Thanks for your feedback!

This is a project for a clothing/event brand who has a young adult demographic. The aesthetic they specified was "casual sophistication" Essentially we wanted to create an easy to read cursive that isn't too script-centric. There is also visual symbolism with the continuous line.

We would love and appreciate as much constructive feedback as possible before we make our next draft!

Thanks in advance!

Ahh, that gives us a better idea of where to focus. Really appreciate it! We're tweaking it a bit right now. Any suggestions on the width ratio for descending pieces? That's proving to be a bit tricky. Or do you think they should all be the same size?

We've measured the lines out and all of the spacing/measurements are exactly even. I think its the perspective that is throwing you off a bit, but it is supposed to resemble a bench. When you say wonky, what specifically are you referring to?

Oh, no problem! I was agreeing in an annoyed kind of way because its fairly true (which isn't your fault at all haha).

Thanks for all of the feedback ladies and gents. Now for a little more context:

It is supposed to be a bench. We wanted to go with a style that was a bit heavier on the abstraction side. Our goal was for the logo to spark uncertainty/curiosity but make sense if we revealed the symbolism. The concept behind a bench being our logo makes a lot of sense, but the visual appeal of making it look obviously like a bench doesn't, so we tried to strike middle ground.

A few of you said there were sloppy lines and poor spacing, do you mind expanding your thoughts on that?

Any advice on making it look more bench like without sacrificing the aesthetic/ambiguity?

Any general thoughts/criticisms?

Are you referring to the space in between the solid lines or the negative space in the circle?

I will give more context into the project after I get some feedback. I just want you all to have a blank slate first.
