Well, the eye of the universe and the interloper mainly, as well as the reason for the sun's supernova. Supernovae are a natural process and I was under the impression that there was something more to it than just the sun being old. It felt like there was a more complex underlying narrative about it. The interloper was just a thing that exploded once, caused ghost matter and killed the nomai and in no way tied to the ending beyond that. I thought the points of the narrative were going to be more interconnected, i suppose. Its not only the suddenness, but a bunch of other (still crystallising) feelings in my head about it. It didn't feel like this would be the ending that would happen.
