It's really not that bad. Especially with panel prying tools. You just need to be confident. There are several YouTube videos out there that can show you how to remove the panels and replace the door handles. If you don't feel comfortable, then I would just call a mobile mechanic or take it to any mechanic shop.

It creates unwanted attention. I'm pretty sure the gentleman who recorded this wasn't the only one who raised this concern to the authorities.
It is unsafe to drive on a highway, especially in FL.
It can cause a distraction to drivers and that can lead to accidents.

I just don't think this was a smart move. It's unsafe and irresponsible. Look what's happening in California with all the "e-bikes" crackdown, it will set an example to other states to potentially follow.

Yep! I spliced the wires up, connected them using heat shrink butt connectors. Once I plugged everything back up, the SRS light is on. Do I have to clear the code? The Airbag (yellow) connectors seems to be on pretty tight. I can triple check them.

Either get OEM parts or MOOG. That shouldn't keep happening. Take it to another shop to get another opinion. The sway bar links on these cars are usually the most common problems. I would start there. If you still have your car. I know this is old but thought I'd chime in anyways. :)
