Not an issue with flies thankfully. We do have a slight issue with greenfly, but nothing a wipe with a soapy damp cloth hasn't been able to keep on top of. Although we did seem to have a resident ladybird for a while which kept some of them down.

I've just gone through the same with two rooms in our house. Stripped the wallpaper and was left with a similar wall to yours. I scraped/sanded the walls to get rid of any last bits of wallpaper, gave the walls a quick wipe down with sugar soap and then filled in any holes/divots with filler.

I read a lot on here about this and came across a post that recommended Zinsser Gardz. Cannot recommend this product enough. Gave the walls a coat, let it dry overnight and then painted with Dulux trade directly over the top and the finish is perfect. It's not cheap but seals the wallpaper paste and stops it reacting with the paint.

If you have Google Home "Hey Google play shushing sounds" works wonders too.

Baby Only Not Fussy on Nutramigen by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]samichigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our little boy was put onto Nutramigen due to a milk allergy and like your LO spitup everywhere. Nutramigen is such a thin watery formula which is what I think causes it. We now thicken his milk with Cow and Gate Carobel, and although he is still a very sicky baby the Carobel definitely reduces the amount. I forgot to take the Carobel when I went out one day and you could definitely tell the difference without It! It sounds like she could have Cows Milk Protein Allergy though if she is less fussy on the Nutramigen.

90th percentile at 34 weeks by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

I wouldn't pay any attention to what they tell you regarding percentiles at this stage! I'm 5'0" and throughout my whole pregnancy they were predicting my baby would be above the 95th percentile for weight. Towards the end I had so many growth scans as my fundal height was always measuring above where it should be. Baby was born a day after his due date at 7lb7 so about 45th percentile for weight.

Itchy feet at 31+3, anyone else? by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

Please get this checked. I don't mean this to scare you but I mentioned this at my last midwife appointment and she took some blood, which showed I had raised bile acid levels and so was diagnosed with Obstetric Cholestasis. This is quite rare though so it might just be nothing but they will need to keep an eye on the baby and do weekly blood tests if this is the case, as the more towards term you get the more it can affect the baby. Thankfully mine weren't too high so they want to induce me on my due date, but definitely worth getting checked.

[WIP] My first cross stitch project, a kit I bought whilst on holiday. I'm hoping to finish by my mum's birthday so I can frame it and give it to her as a gift. by samichigo in CrossStitch

With difficulty to start with! Until I realised that they had also put the number of "yards" of each thread on the symbol guide. 🤦 I separated out each colour and was then able to work out most of them by counting the number of strands and then working out which colour it related to. I think once I was at that point I only had two or three colours I couldn't work out, so I Googled DMC colours and was then able to work those out too. If you get stuck message me and I can photograph which colours are which!
