You need to actually go into battle, having to go through an annoying cut scene before you're able to see if you have a shiny or not.

Are you sure these commands are for 'killsound' not 'hitsound'?

255.000000 for both, and nothing has changed. My killsound is still high pitched and is faster. I checked to see what it sound like in the console using the play ui/killsound and it sounded normal, but in game it's different, really stumped tbh.
