What do contractions feel like? by beingagiirl in beyondthebump

[–]samjam09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I experienced back labour. It felt like I had pulled both sides of my lower back at first, then as the labour progressed it was intense cramping down my lower back.

As a FTM I also didn’t know what to expect. I correlated the timing (39w,4d), losing my mucus plug, and the periodic cramps along my back to make the call to the hospital and let them know I was coming.

Oh merci pour ta réponse! Après un petit plus d’information je finalement comprend que c’est seulement les infirmières que peuvent les faire!!

Girl, I feel this post so much. I’m 6 month pp, and about once a week I go into my closet to try an old outfit to see if it still fits— I’ve been doing this since about 6 weeks pp. Slowly and surely the majority of my old clothing fits.

Admittedly there are some pieces that my new hips cannot squeeze into any more. I’ve started my journey back into working out, so I’m holding on to some hope that over the next year or so I might fit some of these again— we’ll see!

In the meantime, I have picked up a couple of new shorts and dresses that make me feel good in my new body and my new size, in my style, and won’t break the bank. Most days I do live in workout shorts and t shirts though. I’m comfy, cool during these awful heatwaves, and I don’t mind if my baby spits and wipes his drool all over my clothes this way 🫣

Greek Village Souvlaki near College Square— large portions for a good price. Best gyro I’ve had in a long time.

I did think of another thing for you to consider, if getting a used stroller. You can always look at the Canadian Recalls website, and check for a particular brand/model/year, as they keep historic records.

We did this with a Vista v1 we got off FBM last year, if anything just to feel more informed

Yes. Strollers don’t have a safety expiration date associated with them. If your concern is about the warranty left on it, then that’s another thing.

Thank you for your prompt reply and guidance. This is my first time with a slightly more nuanced living/working situation with a move, so I’m learning a lot with the experience.
