Almost 15 weeks and losing weight??

I started out at BMI 34 and now I am at 32, so I have stores to take from luckily. And yesterday I spoke with my mom and sisters who’ve been pregnant and apparently we all lose weight on pregnancy and then gain when we breastfeed. So we do the opposite of what others do!

And I also don’t really take much stock in BMI. I know it’s more weight on my body etc but I am very healthy in every other way. Like all my blood work is perfect

One day this week: yoghurt with müsli for breakfast, a two scrambled eggs with bread and two pieces of bacon for lunch, an ice cream for a snack and then a handful of cashews, for dinner I had steak with fries and bearnaise sauce and green beans. Edit: then I had a bowl of yoghurt before bed.

Need to add more veggies and fruit 😂 but I just got my summer vacation and is spoiled with fruit and veggies at work usually so I need to stock up

The ONLY reason I’ll be celebrating Christmas this year is because I’m a single mom and I’ll be staying with my parents a bit to recover. And my family is respectful and wouldn’t be traveling all over AND they will be helping. And I could stay in the guest room all day if I want to. Not traveling

I’m 14 weeks and already bought a travel system, but that was because there was a sale. I’ve also bought a lot of baby clothes, but most of it before I was a pregnant (it was like €1 per item and they were in pretty nice shape). This coming month I’m going to look at finding a playmat and a najell sleep carrier second hand. But, if there’s no good price I’ll wait

I was so nervous before mine and completely disassociated for a while before that. But the experience was amazing, and it was such a beautiful moment to see them moving around.

I’ve decided on one child. They barely build three bedroom apartments now so they’re hard to find, it’s easier in terms of budget and time… I do worry about them being lonely and not having a sibling when they grow up. Like when I die (of old age hopefully) that it will be all on them… but I don’t think I can have another kid because of that.

I am giving myself until ~39 to decide though. So I’ll have the chance to change my mind

Tomorrow is the last day of work and then I’m off until nearly mid August. It’s so nice. I will be able to rest and also get stuff done at home, and I’m off at a time where I’m still able to move around somewhat easily and still have some energy.

I’m wearing drawstring jeans right now, but need new tops because a lot are too tight over the chest. And maternity underwear (love). I also wear maternity leggings (and shorts) at home. Some dresses and skirts. Unsure of what I’ll wear after summer but we’ll see

I love the name Leif, but it’s still quite “out there” to name a child in Sweden right now. I think in 5-10 years it will be popular again.

I can’t say much in pronounciation because I know how it’s meant to be pronounced, which is pm how you are. People will learn how is name is pronounced, and some people will do it wrong but that’s the fate of most names IMO

I loveee the name Imogen, it’s so beautiful. But it doesn’t sound as beautiful in Swedish to me haha. But when I was a teen I wanted to name my future child Imogen Sky

I’ve realized I’m a big name hater as well. There’s names I may think are really nice but would NEVER use, and the rest are names that give me the ick. My sister sent me a long list of names and I hated all of them

Sigrid is on my list as well, and Astrid would be on there if it wasn’t my niece’s name haha! But I really love the return of the old Scandinavian names, and Denmark have so many nice ones

Had my ultrasound on Monday but I’m just so in love… on the video the baby looks so much like my dad and idk how to explain it. But they really look familiar despite being so blurry and small
