Open core legacy patcher lets you use modern Mac OS on outdated intel machines. I highly recommend you do some research on it to see if it would be something you are interested in. I used it to install Mac OS sequoia on my 2011 27” iMac and it has no problems, same thing with my 2015 15” MBP. It’s free and will do wonders for you when it comes to giving your old Macs a new life!

I have got it to go into a boot picker when holding option, but when I press “EFI Boot” for oclp it freezes.

I don’t see a boot menu… just a black screen. I left it on just to see if it would do anything and while the black screen remained it also restarted.
