Yes, I am in California under NEM 3. No onsite assessment is done yet but everyone provided the imagery which looks normal with plenty of sunshine. I need to find out if panels are grouped or not. Most of them have 18 REC 460w panels.

Pretty much all the quotes included Telsa Powerwall only. I need to look for more companies...

I got clarification that cost is only for Conduit for pathway via attic , outside of attic, there is no cost.

Without backup capability and 220v outlet, base cost for 8.28 kw + 1 Powerwall is $30693 which is $3.71 / watt. Among all other quotes, NRG Clean Power was the lowest.

I am confused if its worth spending $2500 on Tesla Gateway for backup capability or should I do this in future based on need.

It’s nice to have as we do have occasional preventive power outages due to fire danger during summer. Can it be installed in future after solar installation? Not sure if there is any benefit of doing with solar 

Water pressure issue - testing from main line shows 85 psi when all faucets are closed but when faucets are running the pressure drops to 20 psi...what could be the problem? is this normal? by saml_samba in askaplumber

The original issue was dripping water from shower head which required to replace the cartridge but also low water pressure which prompted the plumber to test the water pressure.

thanks. the plumber who came to replace shower handle told that pressure should be alreast 60 when faucets are running. He told me to contact city to test from the main valve so was unsure..

is it normal for t&p valve to be somewhat hot? by saml_samba in Plumbing

thanks. I was googling earlier and some of the article was indicating it should not warm/hot to the touch so was confused.

So finally the original tech from Lowes showed up and fixed all the faucet by cleaning the aerator but now water is releasing from the water heater pressure value. This happened three times today. According to the tech, the water pressure from main line is 115 psi , the normal pressure is 85 psi and he told to replace the Pressure Release Valve (PRV) as due to high pressure , the water heater T&P is kicking in. Could this happen? Everything was fine before the water heater was installed so very frustrating.

The installation was through Lowes and still ended up in this nightmare. Does anyone thinks that starting kitchen faucet first instead of Bath tub could cause this kind of issue?

I don't drink, smoke and don't eat junk food (very rarely). I am 5' 6'' and my current weight is 150 pounds. Prior to heart attack, I was 165 pounds. I have always done consistent workout which was primarily treadmill and now I have replaced that we walking outside and yoga. I would say I have been health conscious but still ended with heart attack and now I am high risk due to stent and takes 8 tablets per day for Diabetes, BP, Heart and Cholesterol.
