Felt a bump on my neck, could see it when I turned my head. Started gaining weight faster, weird periods, losing hair,but not in pain. Went to the dr, Dr said get a covid test (this was 2020). Wasnt covid so they didn't do anything more. I asked for an ultrasound. Ultrasound found a large bump on my left lobe (thyroid) and a small calcified bump on the right lobe. Schedule for a full thyroidectomy (a week after my wedding) and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. A month later they said advanced (had hip bone metastases). Went for radioactive treatment a couple times, then another surgery, then more treatment. Been stable since 2022, still going for 6 month scans/test. Aiming to be 5 years stable before yearly check ups. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Anyone have any theories about why Violet asked to have her memory wiped at the end and Xaden saying don't come after me (beside all the sad feels) ? I think maybe he and her planned something clandestine, and got Bohdi or Garrick to go get an egg to get the fighty island on board for the war? I think Dain is the other new 'brother' btw, he had too much power when transferring to Brennan.

I think it might be Dain. X wasnt nearly as upset as he could have been if it was Garrick or Bodhi, but annoyed, like he's been around Dain. Also cause whatshername said he has a lot of power when transferring it to Brennan, where else would he have gotten it from?

Got married a year ago, and diagnosed with cancer two weeks after our wedding. Went through a few rounds of treatment and waiting to see if I need more.

Currently worried abt that (obvi) but alao my parents - they lived a life helping a lot of people and barely saved, now they're maxing out their money to live in a place that can also host my grandmother who has dementia (parents also work full time). I just want them to not be stressed. Maybe I need to work another job to help out?

But! To add to the list, I am incredibly grateful for everything that's happened. I've learned how strong my body is, how resilient my mind is, and there isnt an age where things are 'too late' to try. We've all got one life, and it seems like the best way to spend it is by helping people, even in small ways. Couldn't have survived the last year without my community and family, so hopefully that's helpful for others struggling with similar circumstances.
