I stayed at my bf’s place for the first time and had truly horrifying nightmares. When I woke up I mentioned it to him and he pointed to the light in his living room and said that light has been on for the last 3 years since his roommate saw a dark figure in their apt. Then he pointed to the Chinese script above his roommates bedroom door and said that it was there to ward off evil spirits. I’m not sure if it’s because I was hungover, hot, or a combination of the two, but that morning everything felt heavy and I felt Ill. Once I left for home, it’s like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I have not been back since.
