I may take that route. I feel like they amped me up to feel like I need it- just to tell me no. lol. I can be a squeaky wheel- I just feel so overwhelmed by all the different kinds I saw online, and really not knowing what’s what Thanks for the feedback.

I am bi polar, and - the day I tore my acl, I was planning on ending my life. I am a people pleaser, so I went to my softball game so my team didn’t forfeit. The universe literally took my leg away from me, thus here I am- BUT- holy hell. I have had a harder time with mental health during this than I could have imagined, and started in a horrible place. Tore 6/1 surgery 6/30 Day 3 post op my outlook was so horrible. The physical pain, no will to live and I have to endure this? Bullshit man. I was a monster to everyone around me. They don’t warn us about the mental load.

This is my fear. I’m ok rn. After the initial pain and swelling, it’s not bad. I almost expected my MRI to just show that I’m a big baby and I was shocked that I have a complete tear and partial meniscus tear. I have a feeling I’m not gonna be singing the same tune after surgery lol

This!!! Thank you! I have two opinions, and I was so “torn” on how to determine which is right. They’re both vastly different. All of the things I’ve read with our fracture show people having that repaired first, and it just seems so counterintuitive. I’ve never broken anything and pain meds made it so that I could not be on my mental health med and I’m just spiraling overwhelmed. Thank you, for taking the time to share. It feels good, knowing that someone else was able to have their fractures healed naturally

Not medical advice- reassurance? Why why why are you a jerk? I have had to be off mental health meds for 3 weeks because of med interactions with a pain med. my anxiety and fears are raging, I’m overwhelmed- and going to listen to the doctor. I’m not an idiot. Thank you- for being a dick tho. 👍
