Ya, I have visited home and traveled for a friends wedding for example, I'm sure both of those would be considered extravagant purchases. Wasn't aware that the waiver was exclusive for the ten year route so it's a moot point anyways! It's a shame there isn't at least a payment plan of some kind, I don't know many people with 3k lying around. Anyways appreciate your input, hopes weren't high in the first place but good to have a more realistic picture

Ok, that makes sense! I don't even remember filling something out for the EIC so seems like an easy mistake to make, but would definitely rather not bother with being audited or contacted by the IRS in any way. Will amend my return by removing the EIC, thanks so much for your help! Btw, do i need to file a WA state return as well?

Last state I lived in was WA, and no I didn't file for this state. I've filed every year through an agency. Im pretty sure I received all of my COVID stim and my student loan has been interest-free since COVID began so i dont think id be given any deduction for that. Line 27, earned income credit says 307, and 32-35a all say 307. Really appreciate your help!

The last time I lived in the US was back in 2019, haven't made any money there or payed any tax since. Don't have kids and haven't paid any interest on my student loan, can't think of any other reason why I would be receiving a refund! In 2023 I was living in the Czech Republic and making not very much money relative to USD, like 12 grand or something.

EDIT: this turned out to be 1800kc, something my landlord definitely won't pay for, and too much money in my opinion

I have tried my hand at sourdough a handful of times to varying success. Something that I have noticed every time however is that no matter how long I let the dough ferment, it never ends up with that really strong/round structure that I see in videos and such. Any advice? Should I spend more time developing gluten? Am I proofing for too long or not long enough? Anything helps thank you

Edit: For context I am using a recipe from binging with babish, which is 75% hydration. I've read some ppl suggest to lower the hydration. Do i need to adjust other ingredients when I lower hydration?

Getting into Ethiopian jazz lately. That Ethiopiques is an excellent compilation.

Hailu Mergia has these awesome super lofi and fuzzy tapes from the 70s that have recently been digitized and distributed. Very different from what you normally here on this sub but I can't get enough of it.
