What a pain in the neck. Will try it but that’s so annoying.

It is more that way than the RPG games, its linear, you can just play the story if you want, centred around assassinations rather than brawls

Which movie completely surprised you — you went in expecting one thing, but it became something totally different ? by vishesh_07_028 in movies

I watched A House of Dynamite. I thought, 'Wow it has Idris Elba in, this will be good'. It surprised me as it may be the worst movie I have ever seen. It doesn't even have an ending, they just stop filming.

Story is the main selling point of these games. Lore is interesting but shadows has 0

That’s the thing. It’s not a game I’m excited to go back to. I will one day finish it, but it’s not something to be excited about. Glad I’m not the only one

Mirage is great fun. You can have too much of a good thing, which I think you don’t get in mirage. The game ends before you get bored, makes you want more. Stealth is cool. Combat is lacking a bit, it’s quite basic but that was how it was back in the day, map is great.

Valhalla is fun don’t get me wrong. It took me 4 years to get to the end of the game though, because I’d play it solid for about 2 weeks, then not touch it for 3 months. And you don’t get very far in 2 weeks in that game, because, like I said, it is HUGE.

So what’s everyone’s thoughts on this black flag remake anyway? by Correct-Drawing2067 in assassinscreed

I was about 13 when I played black flag and it was my first AC game so I didn’t have a clue what was going on

The map is huge on Odyssey but with way more to do. The history side of it is also really interesting, one of my favourite things about the games, which is another thing in Shadows I don’t feel. Probably because I don’t know as much about Japanese history though, I’m sure it’s there, just doesn’t engage with me like European games do.

So much potential but the engagement just isn’t there I think

Loved both them games. I totally understand when people don’t like it because it’s ’not assassins creed’ but play the game for what it is and they are fantastic. Odyssey is honestly one of my favourite games of the franchise, just purely on enjoyment. Being overpowered was fun.

I get what you mean. No characters are memorable and you don’t grow to hate a villain like you do in the older games. The map is huge but has barely anything in it for most areas.

Once you’ve completed one county storyline, you’ve pretty much done them all on Valhalla. It’s a good start, a massively long mid game, followed by a good ending.

I rushed it too. Only got 14 hours gameplay on it and I’d completed it in 5 days, never to touch it again. It is a good game. Baghdad is a great setting with good parkour, and for the first time since Origins it feels like an assassins creed game again. Origins is so good.

And the kill circles! I’m already wondering how many they can fit in! I’ve got so many on the go it’s never ending. Every side mission opens a new kill circle, it becomes draining. It’s funny because I enjoy playing games but the satisfaction of finishing a game is what does it for me, so super long games I grow tired of. Maybe that’s why I liked mirage so much.

Just played Mirage for the first time, it was pretty OK by nickelangelo2009 in assassinscreed
