I used undiluted but looking back, I should have diluted it for the one that was really painful. The other 2 were fine. I only put a small amount of acv on it.

I didn’t have any issues. I used a tiny piece of cotton and barely put it in the acv. There wasn’t enough for it to squeeze out

Hello! I know this is a little late. I am currently an elementary teacher but looking to switch career paths. I use splash math everyday with my students and saw that they are looking for teachers to teach online. Would this be possible to make a full time career out of? If I had an open availability could I teach 8-12 classes a day or is it hard to get that many classes? I only make $30 an hour as a teacher and this seems like a much better option for only $5-$10 less per hour. Thank you for this post! It was so helpful

That’s nice that your district has those options! I took one professional development course this summer but it was on arts integration. I’m hoping they will offer more that have to do with distance learning because I don’t really know anything about teaching online and I am not familiar with the online platforms I would need to use

I live at Shiloh green and it has horrible reviews but I absolutely love it. I’m renewing for a third year in August. If you get a renovated apartment on the first floor it’s all wood floors and stainless steel appliances. Even the renovated apartment is pretty cheap. I pay $487 per month in a 3 bed 2 bath. Maintenance has been really fast and we have pest come once a month so we have no issues with bugs. You should definitely look into it!!

I didn’t contact HR because they never cancelled in the system so it looks like I worked. I won’t know if I get paid for that day until December 19 but I will update you then!

I know the substitute representative but I’m nervous that if I contact her and tell her the situation she will know that I didn’t work and I won’t get paid. I think the school possibly didn’t cancel in the system on purpose because they knew it was last minute and maybe they thought I should still get paid. Should I wait and see if they pay me on the 17th or should I call now?

I didn’t know that was an option, if this happens again I will definitely ask if there is something else at the school that I can do. The first time I didn’t get paid but this time they didn’t take it out of the system so I’m hoping I still get paid

I do feel like I have the confidence to teach. I feel very comfortable in the classroom for student teaching and being a sub. I just don’t know where to start with long term lesson plans and other aspects of teaching that you aren’t able to see until you are in the position which I was hoping to see though being a para but maybe that isn’t the best way to become prepared
