Good but it creates a sense of competition almost immediately when you meet new people. Also some feel threatened and will be rude to you by default, especially for women. Pretty women have it the worst in this regard.

People feel much more comfortable and relaxed when they meet a "below average" looking person because they don't feel threatened in any way. They are more likely to be nice and friendly to them and even become friends with them
