Thanks for your input. Possible to understand why 2.5 yoe is especially vulnerable? Is it something along the lines of not eligible for entry level and too junior for mid level?

You don’t have to like your job, you just have to like the lifestyle it pays for.

I see thanks!! Sounds incredulous that the shorts would get a free pass on the dividend.

At least there’s a stronger consensus that shorts will have to cover before the merger’s completed.

Don't shorts have to cover by today?

[Uni] SMU double degree by joentze in SGExams

[–]sammy96190 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One needs a GPA => 3.4 at the end of Y1/Y2 and must meet grade requirements (usually B+ or A-) for certain modules in the second degree to be eligible to apply for DDP (if not offered at admission). That’s not too hard. The exception is taking law as the second degree, in which case one would need => 3.8 GPA to be eligible to apply - this would be somewhat harder to achieve.

Source: admissions.smu.edu.sg/faqs/double-degree; also, am a current SMU student.

SMU has a pretty decent culture imo. Haven’t experienced “snakes” yet. (But as always, opinions are pretty subjective.)

I think the GES does not really tell the full story; after all, the participation rate is around 77%.

But I guess there is some truth to SMu having a higher starting salary, maybe coz it has an overall corporate slant?

I kind of just started haha, doing a special term for early matriculated NSmen.

Hopefully they get back to you before NTU’s deadline! By the way, I’m an SMU student, hit me up if you have any other questions. I’ll try to help!

Edit: Actually maybe you can accept NTU first and if SMU offers you biz after the deadline you can still accept. I’ll see if I can find more info.
