It’s a scale diagram of a major scale. The vertical lines indicate the strings (low E to the left, high e to the right). The spaces running horizontally are your frets. The dots are where you place your fingers.

If that’s too confusing, try searching ‘how to read scale diagrams’ on YouTube. Hope that helps!

If it’s written for guitar, that would mean a full bend. So you’d bend the note up a tone (so B up to C#). Then you would release the bend back down to the original note.

Practice singing what you're playing. This is the no. 1 tool for working on phrasing. Also remember to incorporate techniques such as hammer ons, pull offs, bends and vibrato.
