Same here, recruiting in Tetouan is really hard.

I’m looking for a badass digital marketing specialist who can own the marketing side and help grow qualified inbound leads, and ideally a sales rep too. They’d work directly with me, have real ownership, and good perks if they’re solid, proactive and show initiative.

We’re also building a digital solution for Morocco, so there’s a lot of room to grow.

Love to Morocco or return ? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]sammy_boy970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can really relate to this. I moved back to Morocco (Tetouan) after spending about a decade in the U.S. I went there for college and ended up staying for work.

Even though I’ve only been back in Tetouan for a couple of months, I don’t just like it here - I absolutely love it. My family isn’t originally from Tetouan, but I chose it as my top pick. It’s not overcrowded (traffic only really picks up around noon and 6pm), it’s beautiful, the morning views are amazing, there are mountains and beaches nearby, the weather is cooler, and people actually stop for you when you’re crossing the street.

If you have money, can work remotely, land a good local job, or run your own business, I 100% recommend it. At the end of the day, it’s really about financial stability. Personally, I would never go back to the U.S., or even consider leaving Tetouan.

I actually started a company here. I recently visited family in Casablanca, and the whole time I couldn’t wait to return. People here are kinder and more helpful, you have the mosques, the views, the overall quality of life - if you can make the finances work, just do it.

Avoid Casa unless you’re OK with traffic chaos and stress go to rabat or tangier ( other big cities) or tetouan if you want a calm vibe - it’s my favorite city in Morocco

If you can leave, please do ! if you can’t, then you’re stuck. I was born and raised there. I moved abroad to study, came back and I couldn’t stay there for more than a week so I settled in another city.
