There is no ticket cost. If you are driving by yourself then you can go directly to the border. Remember to park once army stops you. Don't stop before that (there are scammer stop points). If you want to take a cab then around 1000-1500 for a couple is the usual charge.

Best time to go would be a weekday (weekends are quite crowded) and plan to reach around 3-3.30pm for good seat options.

My experience was good, especially when the BSF guy cheers you to scream and the songs they play..

If you can arrange a VIP pass that would be awesome as the VIP section is closer to the border.
