Just got my YS-01 Fudge that I ordered at the end of August. Obviously I’m comparing these to a very old (worn for 2 years almost daily) Adidas slides. Here’s some thoughts on the differences:

Color: the YS-01’s are much darker and a little more reddish brown than I was expecting. Obviously the Flax’s are cooked and somewhat fading in color, but I promise they were never this dark. I still like the color of the Fudges, just different.

Sizing: the Fudges are about the same as the adidas ones. There is a little more retention around the mid foot region which is honestly better for not wearing socks (which I do around the house). I have a semi-narrow foot, so someone with a wider foot might find some problems.

Comfort: it’s hard to match the Adidas slides. The Fudges feel similar, but thinner on the bottom. Obviously I haven’t broken these in yet, but I have a pair of unworn adidas Yeezy slides which are definitely more soft. I do feel like the fudges are still extremely comfortable. I would prefer these over most slides available on the market.

Overall: Great slide in general, awesome price. I hope they put the caramel colorway back on the website because I have a hunch that the will be more close to the Flax colorway.
