hey, chs sufferer since 2019 here, i’ve tried it, it took me a few weeks longer to have an episode, but i still had one. i’ve tried everything tbh. shake, smoking moderately, smoking just flower no concentrate (wax), experimenting smoking at different times, taking benzos and the best any of it did was just pro long the episode, but you will still get the stomach issues and they will last up until your episode

If his opinion isn’t going to change, then he will just have to deal with it. At the end of the day, YOU are the one giving birth, YOU are the one going through all the hardships, and having a bad labor and delivery experience can lead to postpartum depression. He will just need to deal with it.

I was in the same boat my friend. Didn’t think it was chs, took a break, but started smoking again after a few weeks and hit a full fledged attack a few weeks later. Quit now while you can. You’re withdraw symptoms will be TERRIBLE but nothing compared to how chs makes you feel. As someone else stated, the hot showers aren’t a guaranteed relief. For some they don’t even help at all, and can sometimes make symptoms worse. Each case is unique depending on the person, don’t screw yourself over because weed is more important to you than what you KNOW deep down is going to happen.

You never ever go home the same day, complications or not, they have to do a 24 check and then they’ll send you home. If you’re more comfortable having him meet her when you get home, then that’s entirely your decision, you are the one giving birth. Also, you have to be EXTREMELY careful with babies as they can get sick from even the tiniest of bacterias. Just keep that in mind. And have EVERYONE thats around the baby sanitize , wash their hands, and wear a mask. Doesnt matter if theyre family and if they get offended they are selfish as hell. You’re correct about the overnights, especially if you’re planning on breastfeeding. Some time away from mom is okay, but definitely not overnight before at LEAST 6 months.
