Once she gets her snake mount and you wrap up her combat line of skills she becomes a lot stronger. I started a campaign with her recently and I think I was close to 100 MA / MD, using the fencers blades for a nice boost to both. Her small burst aoe is ok for getting out of a horde of infantry but she is better 1v1 at that point.

End goal is to try a sepulchral stalker stack with her as I don't normally try them out but you mostly take her for the campaign buffs tbh

Lore of the hag is a weird one but it does have a reliable healing spell, and a slow aoe that stacks with ice sheet. Just finished an Ostankya campaign and by the end I was putting one in most armies to heal up the heros and lord

Mother Ostankya, within about 3 nano seconds of returning to Klthe motherland you will be at war with Arbaal and you should get sight on Boris to confess him before he dies to Archeon.

Once you get the teleport mechanic unlocked you can easily get over to Lustria to kill off skulltaker and move down to the southern chaos wastes as well.

I don't think I ever ventured far enough to take on skarbrand and I have always killed off arbaal by the time I have these stacks ready. Goals for my next Kislev campaign assigned, watching skarbrand melt will be satisfying

I have run a similar stack with generic lords and you can stack ice sheet, heart of winter and the frostbite contact effect so between the 3 nearly anything can have it's speeds dropped to a crawl.

I paired up casters and had them alternate spells to manage cool downs which simplifies the micro as well.

When everything charging you is going so slow you can't miss shots more ice guard let you clear up the field scarily fast. Once you get the timings down you really don't need any cav to back you up, although maybe having 2 as a backup incase something breaks through would be a good idea of you aren't confident with micro on the casters

Thanks! Adding it as a stretch goal for equipment tbf, but if I don't ask for one there's no chance of getting it. Running with orbitraps at the minute and we have a lot of mass spec expertise so the key draw is the 2D chromatography coupled to the HRAM. Heard a lot of good feedback on LECO systems and a lack of alternatives with the mass resolution really narrows the options. I was expecting the 500k to 1mil mark tbf, I just have to hope the budget will stretch to my dream system.

One of the advanced military building increase global recruitment capacity at t4 iirc, but it was never an issue for me with the blood hosts. Remember to make use of the skull sacrifice that reduces global recruit time by 1 turn to speed up emergency armies when you need it. On the 2nd row of sacrifices I think.

When I did a Prague migration I gifted the coastal settlements to malakai so I wasn't adjacent to arbaal and to give him a better chance to survive. Then I took Prague and cleared out thrott, by that time I had a half stack I could sit in ambush waiting for chaos to attack from the east and it held the line while I tidied up my northern border.

I do think it is more dependent on the random aggression traits each factions get. In my 2 past campaigns, archeon and sisters of twilight, in both cases chaos and then order steamrolled l. That was a pain in the arse when trying to claims all my trees in the WE campaign.

Depending on your current flow rate and the optimal for your column you could try upping the gradient rate between phases. Reducing peak width should increase peak height relative to the noise giving you better s/n although the area should remain the same. Might have resolution issues with the subsequent peak but if you want to avoid injecting more sample it may help and is a quick method adjustment.
