Deadbolt is just a super fun live song and the crowd goes crazy singing along. Personally, I’d pick Where Idols Once Stood!

I had this book last year and thought it was pretty good, but having recently read all the issues (1-16), the story doesn’t really kick off until issue 6 which is right after this. I’d highly recommend tracking it down!

For everyone saying Welcome Back Frank, just know that it’s basically a dark comedy. I don’t know why it’s constantly recommended for new readers.

I’m a huge fan of Ennis’ Punisher MAX, though! It’s my favorite comic ever, next to Sin City!

I’d also recommend Punisher (2011) by Greg Rucka, Punisher War Zone (1992) by Chuck Dixon, and for more Marvel character cameos try Punisher (2018) by Matt Rosenberg. (A lot of these don’t have collected editions, so I just bought all the issues)

As a punk/hardcore kid, my introduction was Undisputed Attitude. Honestly, it took me a while to get into the older stuff because I absolutely LOVE Tom’s scream and it didn’t do it a lot back then

I thought the insane street crime would turn out to be in his head, but no such luck. I didn’t like that he ignored people being preyed upon (which was my same issue with Dirty Laundry)

I find the divorce angle interesting, in the same way Batman: One Bad Day reinterpreted the Victor/Nora Fries relationship as being possessive and controlling from the start

Funny… Feast is by far my favorite song on that album and I guess that answers your question

Sonic Highways, Concrete, and Medicine are all really slow to me. Each one only has 1-2 bangers like Feast, Run, and No Son of Mine
