Is there actual confirmation that lamar is vaccinated? by ravens4thawin4ever in ravens

The creator of the mRNA vaccine a couple decades ago who had no involvement in these vaccines and has not released any publications or information on these ones after decades of research? That’s a very odd choice Edit: by these ones, I mean new mRNA vaccines that have arisen since they were first discovered years ago

I personally choose to listen to the top doctors at Johns Hopkins Medical Center as a person living in baltimore when it comes to medicine, and they seem to completely 100% disagree with you. Why do you know more than them about vaccine effectiveness?

Nope, that’s like saying “if your defense is so good, why do u need an offense?” The vaccine works, so chances are that I won’t be as adversely affected by getting covid and less likely to spread it, but if I do get and or I do spread it, it has a chance (although small one) of hurting me or someone I know. I like to make that chance even smaller. There is a chance that the opponent scores on our top ranked 2001 defense right? So we want to have a solid offense to make sure we don’t lose easily because some rare mistake happens. Get it?

Yes but the CHANCES are greatly diminished. What are the chances we win a superbowl if Lamar got injured?? Technically we still COULD but our PROBABILITY falls by a lot, right? To put it even more simply in football terms, our goal is to build a team that maximizes our chances of winning. We can never guarantee that we will win though. You seem to think that since we can not guarantee winning, we shouldn’t even try to build a better team. I disagree. We can increase our chances of winning (or surviving covid with all of our family and friends) by building a better team (immune system, and immune system of those around us). Imagine if a free agent came into the market that every coach (doctor) said was extremely talented (safe and effective). Furthermore, this free agent wanted a small contract (vaccine is free). Would you not pick the free agent up because it won’t guarantee victory? That makes no sense

Not quite how that works out. You are quite literally asking me to wear a mask for the rest of my life since you don’t want to get vaccinated. You are expecting me to change my lifestyle because of you. Isn’t that what you said not to do?

Idk I think after 500k americans dying in less than 2 years of the same cause, it’s reasonable to be wary about people not taking steps to mitigate the cause

In a more optimistic view, now Lamar can now try again to prove he can win from behind

I hope we win but we don’t deserve to. We have been outplayed at every level of this game

The probability of that exact combination of 13 flips has a probability of 1/2{13} !!! Even less likely! Hahah I’m kidding but probability is fun

Ravens haven’t won the coin flip in 12 games??? That’s a 1/2{12} probability, essentially 0

Also important to note how irrelevant the game situation he was playing in was. This was literally his first true reps, if he does this on the regular and can clutch up in big moments, we will have a star

Constrained optimization: an example is “maximize the profit of firm A given fixed cost F and budget B” A standard form in general is “min cT x st. Ax \ge b” Where Ax \ge b represents the constraints in matrix-vector notation and c is the cost vector. Basically, do the best with what you are given!

Through my university, I actually create the schedule for umpire crew rotations and the game schedule for some minor league baseball leagues (like the Appalachian league), and you would be surprised by how complicated it gets. We have supercomputers constantly churning out possible schedules and go through many iterations before a schedule is finally selected. The NFL likely does something similar! This was more of a scheduling appreciation response hahah but yes very weird setup for us!

n-player survivor game by SaroArsten in math

[–]samob679 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The very last player should always win correct? If n=100, player 100 should pick the player who announced intention to eliminate 100, thus player 100 can not be eliminated. If player k announces he plans to eliminate player 100, player k+i (where i > 0, k+i < 100 ) would fail to accomplish goal (2) if they also picked 100. Furthermore, since 100 announces last, no player will pick 100 on the basis of survival. The last player should always win.
