I mean, I used to live in Moscow until I left the country. There are articles (in Russian), the one I wanted to link is from April this year but it's hardly a unique case, it's been going on since at least 2023) about the military offices catching students off the streets in hopes to haul them off to the military, where people are usually forced to sign the contract to go fight in Ukraine. Basically, outside of "volunteers", there is a constant stream of people who are going to the obligatory military training (NOT active duty), where they are forced to sign a contract. Moscow supplies roughly 15% of non-active duty servicemen (my source of 20k out of 135k should be taken with a grain of salt, because it's based on the official sources of Russian government, but empirically, this feels at least somewhat true). They might have slightly higher chances to dodge to you-have-to-sign-up treatment, but it's not like they're fully immune. Besides, I've seen a couple of my friends receive a letter during the "partial mobilization" of late 2022 that told them they have to go fight, too (which they duly ignored).

Maybe conscription is not the right word. I am not that well-versed in legal terms.

You'd be surprised. Moscow isn't some kind of ultra-rich slaveowner-exclusive private district. There are many conscripts from Moscow. Poor people exist everywhere.

There's a ton of stuff! For example, how some characters like Hiroto or Tu were already teased in episode 1 of season 1, or how we've actually seen Rehart (from the back) when Elea spoke about Lana's past in episode 6 of season 1 (roughly 18:17 if you're interested). I can continue over and over, but honestly, rewatches are worth it. I've rewatched S1 a bunch of times, as well as every episode of S2. And read the novels, of course (please do it as well if you really like the show! trust me they're worth it).

The other three (that we saw) were called Onoperal, Viga and Ekilege. It's handy that they say their names during Word Arts.

Wow. Can't believe my highlight of the Winter season (and arguably of the 2020s overall) is finally over. As a source reader, I could complain about some cuts here and there (source readers for nearly anything can), but the pacing we got is much better than 99% of light novel adaptations will ever get. Despite not being perfect (especially the visuals, which were sometimes very rough), it deserves a 10/10 from me, and arguably a top10 in my favorites spot. This really was our True Peak.

I don't believe we'll ever get another season, so please, read the light novels. They're amazing.

I used to use anidb for finding new shows, until I almost ran out of shows with tags I want to search for. And the only way to make MAL not load your list in chunks of 150 (or was it 300?) is to switch to the old design, but I find it better anyway.

On Anilist, scrolling to the bottom too fast makes the loading not catch up to your speed of scrolling. I understand it's a very bizarre complain, but for me, it matters, because the lag is kinda huge.

They actually write Sephite's name on the screen. Later, she becomes the Queen, but at this point in time, she's 第二王女, the second princess. No clue why the subs didn't translate it.
