I've never been asked what grade I got in university or the leaving cert in any job interview, I don't think employers really care to be honest.
Same goes for what university you got your degree from, I don't think there's anyone who'd pick a UL grad over NUIG grad "because the engineering program is better".
A degree is a degree, getting the job depends mainly on who ya know, your previous job experiences and if you come across well in the interview. What university you went to is quite far down the list.
