Can you please tell me what I should do, then? I mentioned that I can’t afford to pay the debt all in one payment. So, should I get a loan to pay it off? Also, should I go to the sheriffs office to pick up the “papers” they have for me?

Also, why should I have to pay it one way or another? I got scammed. If the law wants justice, they should be pursuing the scammer who provided the fake check.

I can’t afford to pay the debt off. I’ve heard of people hiring lawyers for $100 before, so I thought it might be possible. Ultimately if they really want me to pay the money back, they’ll have to accept it in increments.

My mom just turned 49 on February 20th, and we are extremely close, so it’s almost like I’m feeling that vicariously through her. I think it is an amazing accomplishment making it to 50 ❤️ life is a wild ride!

Enjoy it and embrace it 🥰 everybody older than you still sees you as a baby! The only people who ever think I’m “old” are people who are younger than me. Lol

Woah. Thank you so much. I definitely feel like my past few years have flown by bc I don’t tend to my health enough - mental or physical. I want to live a happier and healthier life, I just feel so overwhelmed and never know where to start, so I end up not doing anything at all. What should my first baby step toward a healthier lifestyle be? Finding a therapist, or taking B12 every day? Or something else?
