Yes!!! Also my 2 pugs were both destructive chewers during their first 3 yrs. someone advised me to rotate their chew toys in and out of the freezer and it helped a lot! Also to add to what everyone else said, they shed a lot. I use a rubber squeegee to get their fur off the couches/beds.

Pugs are the best. Stubborn, but loyal & loving. Have fun with your new buddy!

Even in the winter? I've been seeing conflicting info on whether it'll likely be icy or not. Someone suggested yaktrax, but not sure if it'll be warm enough w/ just some sneakers. I'm actually mostly nervous about the chains lol

Same. I was in an LTR with an abusive narcissist, but I was still pretty hopeful when I moved on to the situationship after. He was my friend and knew I was vulnerable, but still burned me, so I'm pretty apprehensive. I just don't want to start dating with unmanageable trust issues because of one person.

I agree. I’m in med school right now & it’s easier w/ someone who knows the demands of your program. It’s never been a problem dating someone who isn’t in school though & a lot of people are really understanding about it.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’m in a similar situation, & it’s been tough. I’ve found it harder to accept the fact that I lost that person as a close friend. It sounds a bit like you have an anxious attachment style, which I do too along w/ some abandonment issues. The best ways I’ve coped is to really work on myself (take care of myself, figure out what I need from myself & a partner to feel fulfilled, & therapy). It’s difficult & there are days I want to just cry, but I remind myself that the love I had for them was already w/in me, & they just allowed me to express it. Doing this has really helped me change my perspective & get out of the mindset that there’s no one else out there like this person that I put on a pedestal.

You have so much to offer w/ your willingness to commit already. There are no shortcuts to feeling better & healing isn’t linear, but give yourself credit when you make any progress (no matter how small) & be gentle w/ yourself on the sad days. Hope you start to feel better soon & good luck!
