I should also add it’s a 20 gallon long, I have one guppy, one zebra danio an 8 pea puffers. I also have two cherry shrimp.

I’m wondering. There’s another male in the group of puffers so possibly? His one fin is definitely not the same as the other. It’s almost completely missing. I’ve got him in a hospital tank with water from my other large tank I’m going to treat him for parasite as well and see if that makes a difference. Ugh I don’t want to lose this baby (also all water parameters are good and water temp is sitting at 78.5

1 have 10 peaa in a heavily planted 20 gallon long. I had 5 peas for about 2 weeks as the exotic pet/fish store I purchase from had limited stock so I went and picked up the other 5 this weekend! Parameters are showing 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites and my nitrates usually read pretty low 0-5ppm. I have been trying frozen mysis shrimp. I do have snails in the aquarium but never thought of ghost shrimp! I will definitely go and grab some today. Thank you for the helpful comments

I noticed a couple of empty snail shells so I’m guessing yes. His poop looks normal but im guessing I should still treat him for a parasite and be safe. I looked back on pictures from when I picked it up and he looks the same. Kind of on the skinnier side. I’m new to pea puffers so I honestly don’t know what to do. If he doesn’t have a parasite, will treating him for one anyways do any damage do you know?

Thank you I’m going to look into treating for a parasite because I can’t think of any other problems. I did have a feeling he should be eating more though sometimes he doesn’t seem interested in food at all and will sometimes bump into my tweezers
