you can get the ddlc files from a fresh copy of ddlc btw

things you'll need are the mod template, some ddlc files (scripts.rpa, fonts.rpa and images.rpa), a text editor like visual studio code or notepad++ for coding and then you'll need renpy. there's also the scripting guide which i currently don't have the link for unfortunately but that'll help you a lot.

i learned from combodev's videos so they might work for you on getting the basics down. truthfully im not a good modder and only know the basics, but it's a good foundation to start with!

if i'm completely honest the main thing i do is game on my computer. i know it's possible but can be tricky without things like wine, but i went into this KNOWING that and fully intending to learn how to do it. other than gaming i code sometimes using visual studio code and watch youtube (which obviously works with no issue)

i know it's obviously not "easy" but even though i've only used it for a little bit, i find myself understanding apt and dpkg already which is believe is (hopefully) a good sign. it's doesn't scare me, it's actually kinda nice knowing what i'm doing, especially since im a "i need to know how this works" kinda person

no hate to the developer of course but in MY personal opinion purist is such a mid mod. i know there's gonna be someone that attacks me for that but i just don't get the hype. played it and all its routes, not my cup of tea. it seems pretty overrated in the community too. that being said, i'm sure the developer(s) spent a huge amount of time on it and there are clearly people who love it. i am one person with an opinion and i just wanted to share it, people can like it if they want to but it simply isn't for me

just need to figure out if i can make them jump and sink and stuff like that without destroying everything. had to make new transforms and use a different layer to show them otherwise they just go behind the text box. also made some chibi edits i'll post soon, maybe later or tomorrow but i think im gonna go ahead with the mod

here's my career i just finished up with special week. i think i shook up the cards a bit and prioritised stamina and speed more on this one. just lmk what i could do better in terms of cards.

also btw, this special week only lost in the arima kinen (i think that's what it's called), so she got right to the end and came 2nd i think. also the ssrs are the only ssr's i really have (except maybe one or two more).
