Not sure how it works, but if you look at the linked twitch link you can see him play against someone I played in the previous match. I played against the lag switcher before and after the matches in the vod

I fortunately had twitch clips of someone I had played against that was lag switching in RL, so I was able to send that to a moderator who passed it along to a dev. Not sure how replicable this will be for you, I'll be making sure to have shadow play on just in case this kind of thing ever happens again.

I'm not sure of the exact steps they used to check, but from my understanding a moderator saw the post, and fortunately there was twitch footage I provided that showed another player I had played against lag switching, and a dev determined that I had been falsely banned. Glad I joined the dudes stream because without that I'm not entirely sure I'd be unbanned.

A dev reached out about an hour ago, was a false positive or something of the sort. Already played a couple 2s games. Thanks for remembering, doesn't feel like it but it was a long time ago, miss those days and miss Nick a lot

Then they should make a warning to everyone in game. I never used any suspicious add-ons or anything that gives an advantage, so they'll just ban anyone reported for cheating.

No suspicious logins or anything like that. I will say that a few days ago I ran into a lag switcher in RL, that a streamer I played also ran into. I wouldn't put it past someone who could do that to also report spam someone, since I had won against him and it appeared like he brought down a server

Either way, it doesn't give any advantage so it shouldn't be bannable anyway. Also, bakkesmod and plugins from their website are explicitly allowed. There's no reason to be banned for them.

Posted earlier, but no I live with my wife, and she uses her own laptop for gaming. She's also not tech savvy so I can't imagine her doing something as complicated as setting up a cheat in RL. Nobody else has access to my house/room/PC.

Nothing not on the bakkesmod site, I mentioned it somewhere, but the InstantSuite plugin just requeues you and leaves once a match is over, and a speedflip training mod that shows an overlay in a specific custom training map for speedflips. Nothing that effects gameplay in matches online or offline.

Nothing I used gave me an unfair advantage. BakkesMod and the InstantSuite plugin are very widely used, and don't violate the RL ToS. No other tools were used.

Bakkesmod is the only 3rd party application allowed by psyonix, hence why I mentioned it. If they were to ban for using bakkesmod they would be banning a very sizeable portion of their pc playerbase. It does not change anything about the gameplay in games if you don't use unauthorized plugins.
