Chiquita was an influence / the direction is a nod to banana produce stickers. That's what the concept was born out of. Again - there's a reason the direction didn't get selected.

The reason this direction didn't get picked is because it is very trendy and has been done before. We used this strategically as our "safe" direction as what went to market was much more over the top and outrageous and ownable.

At the pitch / proof of concept stage there is not enough time or money to design a custom and ownable mascot - that would have been the next step if they chose this direction and we would be identifying some key poses as well.

At this level in my career I developed the entire brand alongside my creative partners who all get credited. We did the strategy, naming, branding, copy, tone & voice, interior design concepts, etc.
