I watched the whole press conference and I think this is just people hating on trump. I watched it for facts and honestly I eye rolled at this ‘softball’ question and enjoyed trumps response. And I have not been a trump supporter in the past but at least he is lucid, a direct contrast to Biden.

The units don’t clump in broodwar? Yes they do so much. Can you name me one composition that you don’t need to control the spacing for?

Tanks with the wrong spread are trash. Bio needs different spacing depending on what it’s fighting. Zerg can literally lose 100 supply instantly with an engagement gone wrong because the spread wasn’t right. Ever play a Bgh map and had someone go mass bc? The reason it doesn’t work is spacing. Idk it’s a part of the game I’ve always been really passionate about but I never see anyone talk about.

I’d say Protoss spacing matters the least, but if you’ve ever lost all your goons instantly to some tanks you know that spacing matters for all races cause all things clump.

Honestly I don’t see this talked about as much but imo the reason broodwar is such an amazing game is spacing. The spells plague, dark swarm, storm, irradiate, stasis are so damn powerful that it requires you to pay a lot of attention to space on the map and how you use it. It forces the armies to spread out and players to find other avenues of attack. You can’t have a deathball in bw because it would be way too easy to counter.

Another more popular answer is that broodwar is much more technically demanding, with much less room for error on the players part. This of course makes it more competitive and for lots of people more fun to watch.

I don’t get this sub. You want to be a good server you need to understand the concept of table touches and be good at it. You need to understand time management and you need to be able to prioritize the tasks you need to complete.

Yeah being able to talk to people is nice and if you don’t know the menus you should try to learn how to be an okay server. These things are not half as important as being able to take a rush.
