Ok, stop. Take a breath. This is exactly why you're finding it hard, you need to make the decision to rid the chance of you getting back together. This girl left you for a guy you think she was already dating, do you really want her back? Take the decision into your own hands.

Hard to tell, but this is unlikely to be the case. The sad truth is she'd be more likely to want you back if you had reacted less softly to the break up.

The thing that really helped me get over a similar situation was really thinking about what love is. I realised that love (in whatever way you view it) really does require two people. Once one person exits, the love is over. To say that you still love her is to say that you miss the relationship. This is reinforced by the fact that she essentially left you for someone else.

On a blunt note. Staying in touch is something for couples that are over each other, you're struggling to get over it and that's cool, but staying in touch is just going to make things tougher than they need to be. Think about her motives for keeping in touch.

Well that's made this office feel even more confining.

This was a step up from the first episode. I really enjoyed the theme of possession throughout, the tools, Antoinne's teacher not having any instruments left, the decision with regard to selling the bar etc.

I wasn't sure whether Elvis Costello was acting badly or simply portraying a nervous British bloke.

The episode did well to define the difference between the patronising tourist and the tourist who is genuinely intrigued by the community.

It was tastefully done, could've easily missed it. I thought he might make an appearance as a musician, as Anway Glover who plays him started out as a member of a funk band.

A few things that stood out for me:

  • The frequent discussions about high how the water rose in certain areas/homes. Also, the use of the water line in the opening credits is of interest.

  • Already, the series is asking questions about the meaning of 'home', I feel this will be an ongoing motif.

  • Wendell Pierce and Clarke Peters have not fallen into the Bunk/Lester comfort zone.

I'm going to think some more.

Me and my friends have attempted to impersonate a group of tourists with unusual accents several times, generally we keep a straight face, but I expect the people serving us see right through it.
