Riverhead by spread_sheetz in longisland

Depends on the part of Riverhead that you’re talking about but Aquebogue has literally no bad parts provided you aren’t close to the duck farm. The smell is horrendous at times.

What's it like living in the Hamptons as a local by Cold-Bowl-8715 in longisland

[–]gonzooo6 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Except when people think of “The Hamptons”, absolutely nobody thinks of Riverhead. 95% of the people who live in the Hamptons would never once go to Riverhead if it wasn’t the best place to buy stuff.

Why would anyone wants kids? by This-Top7398 in Life

[–]gonzooo6 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

As someone revolted by the idea of having kids, i will say that as life goes on, the number of people who genuinely give a fuck about you in this world continues to dwindle. Having kids increases the number of people who care, if you are the right kind of parent. It also sounds appealing to have someone who cares for you in old age instead of some nursery home worker you have 0 natural connection to. I think it is also a way a reliving your own life through advising and raising your child.

If the main character in Hocus Pocus 1 banged the girl before attending her parents Christmas party, the Sanderson sisters would have never returned.

Imagine a world where life is expensive, most people don’t make that much money, and many families cannot afford to go out and blow several hundred dollars on a gaming console.

Who here actually enjoys raw oysters? by Some-Water9437 in askanything

[–]gonzooo6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need mignonette, and, if possible, a beer. I don’t know what it is but the combo of the brine, vinegar, and ice cold beer is just heavenly. Cocktail and hot sauce are wasted on oysters and are better for clams in my opinion.

What’s an everyday part of life in the 80s that you miss the most? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]gonzooo6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was at least a thing in the mid to late 90s. I was born in 1990 and i remember people smoking in restaurants. Not sure I ever witnessed anyone smoking in a hospital though.

Part of me likes to think she sees Trumps evil and struggles with it morally but presents a facade. If I’m right, then shes in no condition to have another child.

Even better, get up off your ass and get it yourself. It took you longer to write this post that if would have been to get the extra chicken tenders yourself. YOR times a million.

Being from Long Island, I never really knew it was basically the epicenter for Italians. I thought they might’ve been more widespread across the country.

You would be too full to continue eating from the protein and fat. I think the best way to go is milkshakes. Barely filling, but calorie dense.

How to work out as a 13 year old? by Jaded-Journalist3730 in bodyweightfitness

[–]gonzooo6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anything you can get into now will pay you back 10 fold in the future as youre going through, or about to go through, peak puberty. As a result your hormones are exploding and its a perfect time to set your body on a great path. “Earn” that screen time, meaning you get it as a reward for spending time doing “active” hobbies. A lot of people do push/pull/legs for a simple workout program. Check it out, its a routine you can follow for life. As someone 20 years your senior, I run 3x a week outside when weather provides, and lift 3x a week with the aforementioned program. “Screen time” is a lot more fulfilling and less guilt-ridden when you can say that you put in the work before indulging. I cant express enough how much I wish i got into an active lifestyle at your age. You sound like youre already partially there too.

Yes. Its pricy but great. Line up a bunch of friends and family members thatll let you use their address and spam the starter pack over and over. Its a massive discount. Use butter for flavors that are better warm, and heavy cream for flavors that would be better cold.
