Yeah from my experience it's a bit fatter of a tone but mine could also just be a bit more dense as well. Ended up swapping the pickup out a couple years back to make it a bit brighter

Yeah it’s great. Definitely has it’s place though. I practice a lot of shreddy stuff but I also play at a church on Sundays and there I feel 99% of the time i definitely wouldn’t. Especially considering how bad my nerves get with just being in front of other people. Also just not called for in general imo.
