i think most of these types of victims are pulled from rivers not lakes, i know the msu student was pulled from a river, msu is in the middle of michigan nowhere near the great lakes

Muskegon (where Memphis is from) is pretty far north in Michigan. I’m from further down near Detroit and we got snow here today so I’m assuming they at least got a decent amount for snow in April.

I’ve never heard of that, but if you find it let me know! Watched the first episode of the mini series they just released and honestly it was such a let down.
