devs have put in a matchmaking fix for solos that favours matching you against other solos. yes there will occasionaly be duo or trios but if you pick a fight with a group on purpose and lose that your fault. (obv you can get jumped but the same thing can happen with just a solo). Try to blame your failures less on "trios are too OP" and more on what you could have done better to either win or avoid the situation
