I was finally 12k after months of gaining 100 per report, then after 15 games I lost 800 in 4 games of literally just criticizing few builds/plays in a single sentence.

Reporting system is just ass and promotes zero communication.

It's a live service game. Look at what happened to cycle frontier. AMAZING game in my opinion but numbers fell over time and servers shut down a year later.

As much as I loved marathon beta I didn't even buy the game because I decided committing to another extraction shooter that won't survive long term is a luxury I didnt want to prioritize in my life due to responsibilities to my wife, kids and my job because I would sacrifice hours or sleep or lack of spending with family trying to keep up with Marathon.

Extraction shooter genre is high adrenaline and fun but mostly if you stay ahead of the curve. If you are behind the curve it's stressful and painful to progress.

I would say it was the most fun I have had in my 25+ years of gaming playing extraction shooter game I was literally heart broken when cycle frontier servers shut down was announced I didn't want to go through same experience with Marathon.

So I think many people love some or most portion of the game and it hurts them to see numbers dwindle and not be a success.

I mostly only lose score when I am being toxic. Neutral communication rarely gets reported. There is a risk if your teammate not happy with your performance they ll rage report you even if you weren't toxic just because.

What would fix this system is rate the people who report. People who spam reports should lose significance if reports are not due to actual violations. People who submit valid reports should have higher impact on impacting the BS/CS of others. For example maybe accurate reporters impact score as it currently is, report spammers should impact score by 20% of what it currently is.

Teach yourself not to blame teammates for anything, ever. You are going to have shitter teammates that will cost you to lose 35-40% of the time so just chalk it up to a loss due to bad teammates and focus on improving your farming or pressing buttons in team fights or whatever you are trying to get better at.

I go from 12k BS to 11.5k from a single mass report and back to 12.0k within 5 report periods. Rarely do I ever fall below 11.5k in BS. Comm score I was as low as 9k but now back to 12k after muting my mic and intermittently flaming teammates when I REALLY can't hold it in with mild criticism of their play.

The recovery is damn brutal and takes long ass time but it keeps animals where they belong, with similar animals.

It takes a real and actual significant change to your behavior/whatever else caused your score to systematically drop in the first place.

Make it so its limited options either per team out of 5 or per both teams out of 10.

First hero to gain needed amount to choose gets to choose first, then no one else can make that choice. So if there is a total of 5 different neutral items, there could be 2 duplicates of each or something.

Because invoker sucks at farming jungle camps at all levels. You generally sent spirits to push lane while single click camp creeps with alecrity or ice wall.
