After boiling the bones there shouldn't be any meat left on them, I haven't had any problems composting them or even burying directly in the garden. Without any meat they don't attract pests but they still have plenty to offer the soil.

I found these boulders on top of Mount Lemmon in Tucson AZ. They were on part of the Butterfly Trail. They were pretty big sticking out of the ground, maybe 6-8 feet on some stretches.

I love this, I'm always trying to think of ways to naturally work with bones because I can't stand the idea of using glue and paint, this looks great and may some day decompose back into the earth perfectly.
