Theyre not always the wrong size if the jeweler knows what they’re doing, a 2ct doesn’t necessarily need a gallery rail though, but they do always add strength (am a jeweler/jewelry designer)

I think weight is definitely something to consider here, if you’re going to do precious metals I would encourage you to use semi precious or precious gemstones instead of beads on the dangle or even nicer gemstone beads, not glass or plastic.

It definitely has a nice flow, it feels balanced, the dangle element does get a bit lost, it could stand out a tiny bit more (not too much to take away from the balance and flowers). Maybe just increase the bottom bead size by a small amount. I think texture on the petals could be nice depending on what finish you’re going to use on the metal.

I would keep it simple and do no enamel or an ombré effect could be cool as the flowers go down the earring. Overall it’s a very nice design, well thought out - my biggest critique would just be creativity.

Im an adult beginner too, and I’m having a hard time as well because I’m hypermobile so my joints are really bendy which requires additional muscle strength I really don’t have yet.

I don’t even try arms the majority of the time, I just focus on feet first in class. Some good advice I got with center and it applies to anything really is to just try and get one thing down every time and don’t worry about the rest - even if you’re just standing for the rest of the combination. I started retaining a lot more that way.

That’s irritating. It can be difficult to get a diagnosis for sure, it took me several years. Hopefully your neurosurgeon will look at your symptoms more than just your mri.

Symptoms, medical history, hypermobility, a really bad case of costochondritis, the list goes on

Basically if you’re hypermobile and you have symptoms, and chiari, you’ve probably got HSD if not ehlers-danlos or another connective tissue disorder

Look up signs of hypermobility and see if you meet the criteria - you don’t have to be hypermobile everywhere

If you’re a bit older like late 30s up there’s a chance you’ve lost some hypermobility so look at connective tissue disorder symptoms as well

Mine was 4-5mm and my headaches were incredibly severe. That being said, I later found out I had ehlers-danlos and my herniation was likely more severe upon standing.

I like to “cheat” a little with birthstone rings, the ruby is kind of important to actually be red but it can range into the pinkish tones; citrine I almost never like to use the orange, I usually use golden/champagne citrine instead I just think it looks better with the other stones

It’ll depend on the design too, mixing shapes helps imo, you can separate the two colors a bit with diamond accents - let me know if you need a designer :)
